@StudentRoostUK Thank you so much! ❤️ It truly felt like a home away from home. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and I'd definitely love to stay at Student Roost again in the future 🥰
Home isn't always a house…sometimes it's a place that gives you peace💚
No matter whether it's 3am or 4pm, this place has always felt calm. I've watched these trees go from bearing cherries 🍒 to shedding every leaf in autumn, only to bloom again. Somehow, that cycle never gets old.
I still remember one New Year's when almost 90% of the building was empty. While everyone was celebrating or had gone home, I was working on my project. At half past four in the morning, exhausted and unable to sleep, I came down, sat on one of these benches, soaked in the silence for a while, and then went back to my room to continue studying.
Somewhere along the way, this student accommodation stopped being just a place to stay. It became home 🤍

@ElvishYadav Regardless of political views, no issue should remain unresolved for this long. Students deserve clarity, accountability, and a peaceful resolution 🤍
@IAmSteveHarvey My prayers are simple: thank you for everything, give me the strength to overcome every challenge, and keep Your blessings with me always 🙏❤️
To everyone reading this: my support is for the cause, not for any political party. I simply hope the concerns being raised are heard and addressed through meaningful dialogue 🤍
Dear @Wangchuk66 Sir, you have my respect and support. Your peaceful stand has inspired many to reflect on the importance of accountability. I sincerely hope your health remains safe and that your concerns are heard with the seriousness they deserve 🤍
#ISupportSonamWangchuk
@IndiaToday Accountability is important because the issues being raised affect millions of students. Whether or not one agrees with every demand, the concerns deserve to be heard and addressed through a fair and transparent process 🤍
Instead of decoding everything else, why not decode this instead?
Why is the entire responsibility being placed on one individual, and why is the conversation limited to asking Sonam Wangchuk to stop?
Concern for his health is absolutely valid, but if someone of his stature and credibility has taken such an extreme step, shouldn't the focus also be on addressing the issues that led to it, rather than simply asking him to back down?
Addressing the cause is just as important as expressing concern for his health.
Perhaps that's when real change begins 🤍
This resonates with me. Before moving abroad, I had never done anything alone. Taking that one big step turned out to be life-changing.
My father always says, ‘Just try it. Just ask for it. How will you ever know what's on the other side if you don't?’
You will either succeed or fail, but don't trap yourself into believing you can't before you've even tried.
Looking back, I realize that taking action changed my life far more than simply thinking about it 🤍
I actually started doing this a while ago, but lost consistency.
Starting again from today, this time with no gaps. Let's see what a month of #consistency brings ✨
#manifestation
Somewhere I heard that if you want to #manifest something in life, start writing it down every day.
Do it consistently for a month. They say you'll start noticing small shifts, and things begin to fall into place.
Maybe it's worth trying ✨
Very well said. This made me reflect.
As a student, I couldn't justify buying myself a pair of Prada reading glasses, yet while visiting home, I happily spent nearly £700 on gifts for my parents, brother, cousins, and family friends.
Reading your post made me realize that somewhere along the way, we become like our parents, always finding it easier to spend on the people we love than on ourselves 🤍
@BeerBicepsGuy This is absolutely true.
One thing I've noticed is that many of us who grew up in the '90s seemed more innocent. The younger generation today seems more aware and emotionally guarded, with confidence developing much earlier.
I guess every generation grows up differently 🤍
