“Reach out if you’re hurting”, they say. “I’m here if you need to talk” we tell them.
But here’s the hardest part – if you’re struggling with your mental health, the hardest (sometimes most impossible) task is to do the simplest things – to just “reach out”.
I believe in 2nd, 3rd & 4th chances for students to try again, make a mistake or fail & get up again - as many chances as it takes for them to learn & succeed! There’s always one more round!!

COVID19 cases are back on the rise in British Columbia. We need #bcpoli decision makers to finally put a mask mandate in place in all #bced schools. These changes can be implemented, communicated and ready for when students come back from spring break.
Thank you to all of the #bced teachers taking the time this weekend to represent and work on behalf of their colleagues from across the province. It’s important work that needs to be undertaken. #BCTF2021#BCTFAGM
