A2: There are positive strategies to help get ahold of teachers stress, anxiety, and burnout. If teachers would make everything manageable, embrace the little joys revolved around teaching, and become more resilient then the chances of them quitting is very low. #ap3040

A1: Teaching can be a very stressful job which could cause emotions that lead to burnout. Things like being overwhelmed, stressed out, and having too much anxiety can lead to new teachers not being able to deal with these things. #ap3040

Q5 One of my teachers always gave us a simple pat on the back. She did this when we gave a good answer or made a good grade! I thought it was extremely professional and kind. It let us know she cared for us and made us want to do better! #ap3040

A4 It is important to get involved with your students on a professional level, but not "too involved." Respect that you, as a teacher, have a personal life as well as each of your students. Especially for higher grades it is important to stick with school emails! #ap3040

A3 If you suspect your student has a mental health disorder, it is crucial to act fast. Being educated on the symptoms of these problems may be very helpful as a teacher. Working with the students and his/her family is acceptable when trying to take steps for success. #ap3040
