Happy National Speech Language Pathologist Day! I have had the pleasure of working with and learning from some of the best SLPs and I wouldn’t be the SLP I am today without my amazing colleagues! 🤍🗣️
10 years ago I started my journey into graduate school at Monmouth to become an SLP! So thankful for all the opportunities that have come to me through this journey 🫶🏻
Today is a Preschool Language Scales testing day! I love using this assessment not only to have the option for bilingual administration but also to assess play skills and receptive and expressive language! After all, play is what preschool is all about!
There is a definite cycle to teachers’ beliefs about students and student outcomes. This part of @katiemartinedu ‘s #EvolvingEducation made me reflect on book club in Red Bank Borough a few years ago reading Choice Words by Peter Johnston with @KateRBPS
Today, I am completing two evaluations with the Child Study Team to determine eligibility for incoming three-year-olds. I love completing evaluations in a team setting and learning from my colleagues!
Trying to apply this mindset to not only my students but also to myself. @katiemartinedu describes why believing in your students matters in #Evolvingeducation .. think about if we can teach students to believe in themselves how much they can achieve! #MUSOE#MUEdD
I loved seeing the clinical expo come to life with the @MUschoolofEduca SLP 1st year and 2nd year students last week! I have loved seeing the growth in clinical skills for my graduate students this year, and have connected with new colleagues with such expertise!
