It takes a village, and it was so good to be with our villagers today! @SACTVDSB We had some very talented artists creating masterpieces in the Makerspace. Repurposing book jackets into stunning paper-pieced artwork. 🎨 @MsAllely @EricaAnneM

Some challenges today in Science! We had a paper snowball fight to determine the materials we would use, a prompt given and then the creativity began! Some prompts were “What might you do/eat on the break?” or “What is your favourite snowy activity?” Love their minds!! @SACTVDSB

@dtangred @tinkercad @SACTVDSB Some that finished designing their prototypes did begin to explore codeblock! Today I challenged them to try building a snowman just to get the hang of it and tomorrow they will code their prototypes!

Ending off our #grade5Medschool this week by creating inventions that could help people who have diseases/illnesses/conditions that we researched. Thanks @dtangred for introducing me to @tinkercad !!! We LOVE it @SACTVDSB !!!
