My mamá is AMAZING!! She spent her latin Mother’s Day making 50 tacos and salsa for my IB ESS class for our last day with our seniors. We had so much fun eating and talking about advice and memories. I will definitely miss this group of seniors. @NorthtownNews @mitsinessa

Hundreds of protestors walked to the house where 16-year-old Ralph Yarl was shot.

Yarl meant to go to a house on NE 115th Terrace to pick up a sibling, but went to 115th Street instead. The resident shot him in the head. @kmbc

I feel truly disgusted. There’s so much disbelief that something like this happened to an innocent boy for the color of his skin. What kind of world do we live in? What kind of people do we live around? Justice for Ralph. How is this not about race and hatred?
