We had lots of fun during Storybook Character Day! We sat with our blankets and read. We introduced who we were dressed up as. Jackie Burns, the author of the book series “The Condo Kids” read some of her book to us and talked about being an author. We had our draw for a prize!

Today we started to plan a story!

Today we learned that energy cannot be created or destroyed. It only can be changed to a different form of energy. They built circuits to learn this!

Today we learned oil pastel techniques. Students were to include 3 different techniques in their heart art.

The lady from the Humane Society and her dog visited today! It was great to learn from them.

Today we learned about Charlie Chaplin and practiced miming!

After building our structures, we had lunch and then went snowshoeing! So lucky we had beautiful weather!

We had a fantastic field trip today! The kids had to build a structure, take the temperature inside it, have one person stay in the structure for 10 min and then see if the temperature rose! Some great thinking happened!
