She literally posted the snippet ONE time the same week it dropped, it went viral on its own, and didn’t post about it again until the official announcement the day before.

Cardi is the only female rapper pulling these kinds of numbers off a surprise single. Beyoncé could absolutely do 1M with a surprise drop and Cardi isn’t on Beyoncé’s level overall but in the female rap space, these numbers for a surprise release are still leading the pack.
