To celebrate my books actually being delivered and into the big wide world- I want to gift 3 lucky people one!
All you have to do is RT this post and tag one other person for a chance to win your free copy! (And if you want- I’ll sign it too- that’s so cringe me writing that, I’m sorry!)
Finally finished for Christmas. It has truly been one of the hardest terms of my teaching career to far. But there are so many students who remind me everyday why I love my job and for as long as I make a difference to students like this, I'll keep going.
Another year, another Open Evening! History department gave visitors a time travelling experience through History: working out their Roman name; putting events onto a timeline; taking a selfie with a Tudor; and digging for victory in WW2. #OpenEvening#TimeTravel
Can't believe my tutor group are in Year 11 now! In the seven years I've been teaching, this is the first time I've been tutor with a group from year 7 to 11! #ProudTutor
Tidied up my GCSE History board today. Added some QR codes with links to specs, KOs and other revision resources.
Just need to add this to the departments newly acquired History classroom.
Received a thank from one my yr12's today via @UKThankATeacher . A very funny message, but I know also genuine from them. I also love that they've turned my name into a verb for helping!! #ThankATeacherDay
With the tide quickly turning, it is up to Miep to keep hope alive. Watch new episodes of #ASmallLight, tonight at 9/8c on National Geographic. Now streaming on @DisneyPlus and @hulu.
@mrfitzhist@TheWritingRevol I really like the look of these since I saw them in your previous post. Definitely inspired to adapt our writing/DIRT tasks.
D of E this weekend was my 6th trip since Feb half term, 4 of which have included at least one overnight stay. I love getting to do these trips, but let's remember these trips can never happen for students without teachers giving up their time. #teacherlife
I hope my GCSE students would know the answer.... my year 10's certainly know who Rosalind Franklin was as their recent assessments told me. #Herstory#TheWheel#GCSEHistory
