Today to help us practice our skills of adding and subtracting decimals, we created menus and got our classmates order! We determined the total cost, added tip, and calculated the change we had to give back. Some tips were VERY generous 💰💸🤑🍔🍕🍟🍜🥟🍪🍩

We had an awesome trip today visiting @AJSmeltzer for Grade 6 orientation! It was a lovely walk there, followed by pizza 🍕and information about how Jr. High works. AJ’s student leaders were awesome! After, we did some grade 6 prep by practicing our combination lock skills 🔒

We are learning about poetry and today we practiced our writing skills with cinquains! We created 1 based on our class novel “The Iron Trials” and then worked in pairs to create 1 about a mystery noun that our others had to guess. Can you guess what they are about? @HrceLiteracy
