OTD in 1980, Terry Fox ended his incredible #MarathonOfHope after running 5,373 km across Canada to raise money for #CancerResearch. Terry's strength and determination continues to inspire Canadians and people everywhere - to date, over $850 million has been raised in his name!๐

I think we have entered an interesting new chapter in education where it will be the norm to maintain a number staff who operate virtually to help amplify learning opportunities. We will be more able to individualize & optimize learning environments & opportunities for students

#OnThisDay - July 28, 1979: To honour the day Terry was born, his family is happy to share this photo of him enjoying his 21st birthday. A short nine months later, Terry was on the road in Newfoundland, showing us his try and changing lives with his Marathon of Hope.
