I subscribed to @couriermail online & later on I went to cancel it, also online. I discovered I couldn’t cancel online I had to call a number.

When I called, I asked why I couldn’t I cancel online & I received the most stupidest answer “for your online security & banking safety”.

Oh so you didn’t care about “my online security & banking safety” when I was actually entering the information online but cancelling, where I don’t need to give that information, now you care it.

Reading some of the comments on the 15 year old boy that allegedly stabbed Greg Josephson and sadly ending Greg’s life.

While my heart breaks for the family and friends of Greg. As I do know (although from my own personal experience, understanding there’s will be unique to them as we are different people) the heartbreak and sadness that they unfortunately will be experiencing right now and will continue to feel. Plus all the questions of why.
I also know words can feel rather meaningless and well just a cliché but I and many people and thinking of Greg and family may he R.I.P. and be and be your beacon of light when all feels dark in your world.

But as I was saying at the start, the comments about this 15 year old kid.

If no human is perfect, no human is perfectly perfect, if no human is perfectly good or a perfect angel.

Then one simple cannot be perfectly evil, a human cannot be born evil, a human is not evil.

Their actions are evil, their deeds are evil but they are not evil.

To say they are evil, you are condemning them. You are saying, there is no hope for them. They might as will live up to the title you have given them.

We are all capable of committing an evil deed given certain circumstances. If we are capable of committing evil we are also capable of committing good deeds. We are capable of being loved and giving love.

I do NOT want to diminish what this teenager allegedly did. No, that wouldn’t be fair on the family. No, if he is found guilty by our courts then deserves to be punished and held accountable. I am not denying that. If this teenager is found guilty or not, I hope that he is afforded psychotherapists/psychologist also and of course the victims family should also be afforded one.

I just want to remind people that we are human, including this teenager. He is not evil, his actions were evil. I can not believe that we as humans no matter how bad or evil or monstrous our actions maybe, that we don’t have a part within our heart and mind that also loves and cares (even if it might be shut down because of that cards life gave one).

Well that’s it. That’s all I had to say on the matter

Because we sold our energy companies to foreign investment / privatisation companies telling us it will make energy cheaper however these companies aren’t even bloody paying tax or very little tax once government gives them all the tax breaks they get such as Petroleum Resource Rent Tax (PRRT). How about cancelling this and giving this tax breaks to the people, it’s our dough after all!!

I think it’s great asking young people this surface question. It would be even better IMO (maybe they did but didn’t include in post) to ask deeper more critical questions to follow that surface question. Such as, why as someone young early 20’s, not married, no children, still at uni - world is still your oyster - to travel after uni or just enjoy being young without the demands of full on adulthood. Why does buying and owning your own home at your age home matter so much? Is it because it’s on the news and print so much that you feel that it must be an issue, that 20 year olds should be buying their first home or something else? What does buying a home and owing a bank money mean to you?
Now I do hate when people say, in my day however I’m doing it past generations didn’t get first home until 40’s or later. There were a few in their 30’s and rarely in their 20’s.
Even though I hate people saying in my day, I do think it’s more realistic buying your first home late 30’s and early 40’s.

Just my uneducated based on nothing no facts or figures just my high school dropout thoughts

I would reply with (well no I’m a sheep I do as I’m told but I would like to say)
Happy to provide you the last 3 dot points in relation to my identification. However, matters regarding my wealth and funds and where I receive these from, I submit to the ATO at the end of each financial year. How I come about my wealth and/or funds does not pertain to a bank in which I have chosen to do my banking with. I pay account fees for you the bank to hold my money, make it available when I need it and the safe keeping of my money and that is all you do and therefore do not need to know anything else. I’m not asking for a loan nor do I have a loan with you.

But if you insist then I must also insist on a full forensic financial account audit and I would request that you explain every dollar and the where’s and why’s of that dollar being spent and the returns also for example you spent x amount on ad what returns did we get for that. Why just expensive sports people or “stars” could the return not have been the same if you hired Jo blow? If you don’t know, why did your marketing department not do estimates and test A/B, why?

However, leader post-election in which it was an annihilation?? I’m not so sure it's a crown or more a dish of beef stroganoff - Erin Patterson style. Before eating, just double check who served you the dish. As this could just be a career ending move. But hey, even if that does end up being the case, at least you still have the crown 👑 for being the first female LNP leader.

And while I’m cheering women leading, I also want to say IMO I think Julia Bishop's @HonJulieBishop steady grit & with many female votes already - still feels like LNP missed a great opportunity with her.
Julie Bishop love her or loathe her, you can’t deny she worked hard not for herself but for Australia. Constantly putting herself out there not quietly sitting there being a seat warmer collecting massive pay cheques each week. Or only doing & saying things that will get her the popular vote.
No, Julie Bishop was herself & was real, & I appreciated that.

Well this isn’t about Julie Bishop, it’s about Sussan Ley & her chance to shine, while hopefully taking the LNP into the 21st century (even if kicking & screaming). Turning a pale stale party around & into a party that maybe one could think about voting for.
Who knows 🤷‍♀️ I also believe unicorns 🦄 can fly.
