@ThinkThankPod@jared_sliger We started Thinking Classrooms last year in our 5th grade classrooms. This year, we held a 5th grade grownup orientation, and it really changed parent understanding. We also grew so much in our first two years of BTC because we did it together.
@itsnotjessica Use a tablet and Doceri. It will change your life. You can move around the classroom while displaying your work. Document cameras bind you to one place. :)
@PrincipalCCW @mistermoody06 I step outside my box and mask for a limited amount of time because it allows me to help build school community. I don’t know how to do it otherwise.
@GlennonDoyle I play Tish's We Can Do Hard Things as my students enter my classroom because what they hear and sing matters. This morning for #TeacherAppreciationWeek one of my students sent me a youtube of her singing the song. My heart is full. https://t.co/SjUngML8hd

Is it really this simple? Can the "right teacher" guarantee success for struggling students? What role do class size, resources, and support systems play? Let's hear from teachers! #teacherperspective
I once expected students to sit quietly for a 40 min lesson. I got frustrated when they got fidgety. This lead to me yelling.
Then I found myself fidgety after only 20 minutes on a PD Day. Everything changed. I changed from “delivering curriculum” to “discovering curriculum.”
It is a wonderful morning to do a deep dive of Cultural and Linguistic Responsive Teaching Practices with Dr. Sharroky Hollie! @sharroky Shout out to the educational leaders in the room and @DesertOasisHSLV for hosting. @ClarkCountySch#1forkids#CulturalCompetency
