Thank you to our JEDI committee for organizing our second Diversiti-tea event. Some students in grade 7&8 enjoyed conversations and Q&A with MLA Tyler Blashko and MLA Jelynn Dela Cruz. Did you know Jelynn is a RETSD grad?
We hosted our first Diversi-Tea with guest speaker and Gold medal Olympian Desiree Scott. She shared her story and some barriers she needed to overcome to become an Olympic athlete. Her story was inspiring to many ADMS students.

Fast Fashion and Math. "Shirts Happen", a wonderful project with tons of Math and the environmental and social impact of the garment industry. Thanks to @MsCCunanan for demo this morning as we finished off the 3 week project!
Guiding students through their learning involves accessible resources that can help them independently problem solve.
