Borrowed this empathy map idea for colonists v redcoats from a Twitter post (s/o to that amazing person -I can’t remember who posted it😅) … kids were super engaged in these conversations! Loved what they had to share to our class convo!

🆘 Anyone have a work around for adding a custom banner to Google Classroom? Designed one thru Drawings and it’s not formatting correctly when uploaded - just zooming in to one random area of the banner 👎🏼
Getting new team members calls for updated postcards! Designed on #GoogleDrawings and printed thru @Vistaprint, including a QR code to our team #GoogleSites. Great way to connect with students before the first day!
Excited to start the school year in a few weeks with the same group of kids I had last year! 🤗 Any recommendations for first day activities with a looping group? Looking to build community since we were hybrid and it will be some of the kids first day in building!
Middle school teachers - looking for recommendations and advice for flexible seating?! Trying to come up with new ideas for next year and got some inspiration to change seating from the text #Upstanders 😎
It will mark the first time in more than a year that elementary and middle school students in the state's second-largest school district will be back in the classroom. https://t.co/dsOvs8NtGM
@Mrneilhistory Thanks! We have two cohorts M/T W/Th, Friday remote for all students. We will also be teaching remote and hybrid students synchronously during the class periods! We will be moving to full in person learning May 3!
Does anyone that teaches hybrid at the middle school level have any videos of themselves actually teaching hybrid or really great lesson ideas for hybrid learning and would be willing to share?! Trying to find some resources for staff - we return hybrid at the end of March. 😁
Heading into Feb. break with these teacher awards under my belt from my 7th graders. My favorites - CEO Of Making History Fun...heck ya!😎 Remote learning has been extremely challenging, but this just made it a little better. 🤗🤗
