Nothing like spending a rainy day with fellow educators learning about #computerscience! Excited to bring new skills and ideas back to my students! @CodeSavvyOrg
@lizansleyphoto Thanks for featuring my girls on this cover... love that Olivia is on the cover and the real story features Livia. ❤️ Can’t wait to read! @heathermorrisauthor https://t.co/hYi2aPPknt
One of my students told me this morning, with great confidence & pride, she’s aiming to attend Howard U and be part of AKA sorority. She is in 10th grade. Yes, it is important for kids to see leaders who look like them! @vpotus@POTUS@FLOTUS#akahistorymaker#kamalaharrisday
I have a message for all the little girls and boys out there who dream of growing up to be superheroes: Superheroes walk among us.
They’re teachers, doctors, scientists, vaccine researchers—and you can grow up to be like them too.
With the world fill of crappy news, let's take a brief break and enjoy the elegant entry into the #Duluth harbor of the venerable Arthur M. Anderson. Thank you @akpix
A5: Maybe we need to reinvent school "districts". Allow Ss to take courses from experts around the world. Allow our district teacher experts to teach Ss around the world.

Q4: I don't have a lot of students assigned to me, but what I am doing more precisely is meeting students where they're at... exactly where they're at in that moment. My hope is that this continues for Ts & Ss when we return to F2F.

A3: FlipGrid - not new but it's being used a lot with our Ss. Good for teachers who fear cheating... their students can talk about the topic rather than copy/paste. I'll use it for fun book talks, responding to MC activities, questions of the week, etc.

A2: Agree with @Beckyallen270 - the unconference was great. Large group and small group conversations to keep it more focused. With students - best experience has been connecting peer tutor with students who feel lost or are new to our district.
