It was an honour to have been invited to attend the inaugural external Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP Black Women In Law Network’s event yesterday evening!
I had a great time hearing from the panel as well as watching the delightful @MsCarter_13 in action once again! 🫶🏾
I just wanna put it out there that 21 was detained by ICE like 4 years ago… this is a person with money, a legal team and his first language is English so there’s no language barrier…
If it took him 3+ years to gain citizenship, imagine what this looks like for others…
When food places shut down there was panic and outrage. We’ve come full circle from “essential workers” and clapping right back to “unskilled” and being condescending. How soon we forget.
That man has that impossible kind of male ego which races from accountability, but at this point he also knows I have the madness to match and supersede anything he does, and if I have not stated facts, let him come and challenge what I’ve said, with the same vim with which he
provided would be outside the normal. If that is not crack I don’t know what is. So many other issues inclusive of video been recorded in bitesize 7/8/9 minute files, so much grace we extended in what ultimately was a shoddy set up. Customer service on 4/10. Shambles.
…and them not having sufficient backup cards so we had to wait to transfer episodes in recording time we paid for, means I have to warn people against accepting that discounted offer. It was audaciously implied that our acceptance of it meant that the quality of service..
If you know me, you know I don’t drag for dragging sake, but the experience we had with The Common Sense studio was a shambles. And the audacity of the owner in the light of deleted footage for episodes (plural! by HIM), having to re-record because the camera wasn’t turned on…
implied we were liars about things he told us.
I can’t stand these kind of customer service experiences, I dont give a heck about supporting “our community” in these instances, and if there’s a chance other people will get shegged, I’ll speak. What you then decide is up to you.
