@MissHaeseley I try a few different things - spin the topic to relate to the students, make a little contest out of it, or have it set up where the students then have to teach each other about the topic.

@HannaBowman11 I like to just start clapping and slowly wait for the entire class to start clapping in time with me. Sometimes I pick the speed up or do a pattern but the clapping always starts quietly.
