Community building exercise, critical thinking, visual arts demonstration & analysis, and a cross curricular physical education exercise… makes for a great lesson outside! ☀️
Thank you to my senior students who took pictures at the “senior cookout” for me! I was sadly inside teaching on this beautiful day… glad you all had fun! 🤗🌭☀️
Thankful for another blessing and newest addition to our family. Meet baby GIRL, Drew Carol Sammons (named after my parents). Born on Feb 13, 2024. 6.8 lbs and 18.5 inches
Students know I am an early bird…which means early to bed too: Bedtime typically 8pm. Some students even brave enough to call me a grandma! This picture is for any student who has ever questioned how much I care for you and your learning… 10:15pm hospital lesson planning!
Lately I have been hearing, “Can we have a day off today?” “Let’s have nap time” “Do we have to do work, let’s just chill”… So, I decided to finally grant my students wishes! We had ourselves a “Mental Health Day” today with NO PHONES! And man oh man it was a success! SO FUN! 🙌🏼
Business Letter Writing, persuasive writing, and “Outrageous Requests” sent via snail mail! Some of my students first time addressing an envelope and writing their name is cursive!
