Once a week I teach music at a school out west. I felt lucky today to bring @JeronKir into the classroom via teams to teach my students about Djing! It felt great to provide my students with an authentic experience! Maple Ridge, BC has a ton of future DJs to watch out for! ๐๐ง
Our math centres were a hit this week! Subtraction Bingo, Bunny Money, Building with Base 10 Blocks, Tangram Puzzles, Geoboards and iPads-utilizing programs such as Scratch Jr, Zorbits and Sumdog. These centres adapt to all learning styles creating an equitable experience!๐งฎโ๏ธ๐ง
Grade 2s in 2B explored foods from around the world today! We tasted buttertarts from Canada, Apple cider originating in the UK as well as a staple in Lebanon- hummus dip alongside pitas. ๐ฅค๐ฅข๐ฑ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ #ExperientialLearning#Integrating5Senses
