Once a week I teach music at a school out west. I felt lucky today to bring @JeronKir into the classroom via teams to teach my students about Djing! It felt great to provide my students with an authentic experience! Maple Ridge, BC has a ton of future DJs to watch out for! 🔊🎧

Our math centres were a hit this week! Subtraction Bingo, Bunny Money, Building with Base 10 Blocks, Tangram Puzzles, Geoboards and iPads-utilizing programs such as Scratch Jr, Zorbits and Sumdog. These centres adapt to all learning styles creating an equitable experience!🧮✏️🧠

Grade 2s in 2B explored foods from around the world today! We tasted buttertarts from Canada, Apple cider originating in the UK as well as a staple in Lebanon- hummus dip alongside pitas. 🥤🥢🍱🥟🌮🍕🌏 #ExperientialLearning #Integrating5Senses
