Class of 2026 has officially taken their last lap around @_SalemHigh_! This class is a special group of some of the best young adults you would be lucky to meet. Can’t wait to celebrate you all next week!
Salem High School Senior signing day started with our future educators providing some inspiring words and sharing this moment with the educators that inspired them to take this path to educate future generations. #GoWitch
Tonight had the honor to celebrate with the families of Salem High School’s Northeast Conference Scholar Athletes Oscar Fernandez and Mia Silva. #GoWitch
Look at all this green! My goal: students reading below grade level (~35) on STAR reading comprehension would grow at least 20% (~1.5 GLE). Students instead surpassed my goal and increased their GLE by a median of 55.2% with the highest being 125% increase. So proud of them!
I also couldn’t be more proud to be part of our inaugural student summit conference. These kids are REMARKABLE and the absolute reason Salem is so special. #goWitch
We wrapped the week (and section 2) of Animal Farm with a Socratic discussion. Kiddos facilitated and crushed it, including making connections between Animal Farm and 3 outside texts!
Congrats @_SalemHigh_ senior Annie Thornett, finalist for The Salem News Student-Athlete Award (top left). Congrats also to the '26 winner, Marblehead senior Joy Meshulam, whose mother, Kristen, is an outstanding literacy coach at the Carlton School.
