Unfortunately, online libraries are becoming more rare. Look at what is happening with the Internet Archives. This was meant to store our electronic knowledge for everyone for free. But of course people choose to be litigious.
This was meant to capture web pages before they are changed or dropped.
Electronic knowledge only make it easier for the left to rewrite history. We must protect organizations like this.
We must choose if human knowledge should be free for everyone, or if human knowledge is meant to be owned by corporations and dished out as they see fit.
Carnegie, in the "Gospel of Wealth", specifically recommended that in order to advance humanity and give back, the wealthy should sponsor things like libraries (as opposed to just giving money out). Give people the ability to advance themselves.
I guess those days are gone, instead of being a shepherd for the people, let's just take everything we can from them.
@alex_prompter@EaarthNet As long as our public libraries are available ( online ? ), they can keep their tokenised/metered AIs to themselves!
As @kenchengcomedy puts it:
“AI will never be able to write like me”…
“We can tuna fish tango foxtrot defeat AI”…

Not this. Not that. Not the other.
It's all of it. And the worst part? It's EVERYWHERE.
Okay my turn.
My grandma tells me about how her mother in law, my great grandma, did brujería against her all the time. And that great grandma told her "For some reason, I can't get to you."
It's not that she didn't try. she had apperantly animated a doll to fuck with my grandma
there’s a crazy story my mom told me about how people would go missing in her pueblo in nicaragua while simultaneously finding more cattle on their farms. my grandmother went missing for a week as a child and they couldn’t find her. one day she just appeared +
Shipping culture is dead cause people are genuinely asking why we are pairing two characters that have intertwined lore, complementary designs, thematic parallels, implied to be married in their past lives, and are enemies-to-lovers in their current ones.
“The Painted Lady and the Blue Spirit share many lives together, but their souls agree that the most beautiful one of all is the one of Zuko and Katara.”

the narrative and symbolic parallels between zutara are one of the ship's strongest points and having this kind of foundation is what made them feel so organic (as a ship) to me
