Our class learned all about the 🐝. These thinkers took action and discussed ways they could combat climate change and pollution to save the bees! Take a look at our posters!

Things are buzzing in our room. We have been learning all about bees. Our friends were curious how they make honey and how they change as part of a life cycle. These inquirers used their knowledge from our circle to label the parts of a bee. As other friends create a hive. 🐝

We did a story retell of The Very Hungry Caterpillar creating art with modelling clay. In our unit of inquiry, we’ve been discussing healthy eating! We compared what the caterpillar ate that was healthy and unhealthy. And wrapped it up by making a fruit salad!

We started our unit of inquiry surrounding #SharingthePlanet”, our class is learning about gestures, tone of voice, and other non-verbal means to communicate and respond. In their play, students used play dough mats to convey different emotions by creating facial expressions.
