One of my goals I would like to implement as a form of #communication is creating a teacher/classroom Instagram account. I think it is a great resource because I am able to post photos which are a great visuals and more appealing. #ITIf20
With that being said, something that stood out to me from the article as stated: โThe only way I can build positive, effective, long-lasting relationships is through communication.ย Communication with families, with students, with all stakeholders.โ #ITIf20
I found this article that provides many helpful tools to promote digital #communication especially during this time. #ITIf20 https://t.co/lARNFpDorH via @mdeegan122
I have not used Class Dojo in my internship but my brothersโ teachers do use Class Dojo. My mom really enjoys and appreciates this form of communication. I think this a great video to@show students what Class Dojo is and the purpose for it. #ITIf20

I think a great resource especially now to use for #communication is Class Dojo. Teachers can send messages to the parents as well as post what students are doing in the classroom. Teachers can also reward students points which help motivate them in the classroom. #ITIf20
@LWMEdProf I have seen through my internship how important #communication is, especially with remote learning. In my internship we use Remind. I think Remind is a great tool to use. My CT also uses Instagram and Twitter for announcements, which I thought was nice! #ITIF20
I will be using Pear Deck this week for a lesson but next week I will be teaching Digital Citzenship. I think this a great resource to help motivate and engage students to learn and practice it. #ITIF20#DigCit

I think this is a great video to show students to start the conversation of digital citizenship! Especially when working with elementary grade level students. I will be teaching my students about Digital Citizenship next week so this a great video to start with. #ITIF20#DigCit

I think this is a great resource to use to teach digital citizenship. I would definitely use this with my students especially since we talk about the importance of empathy in our Second Step Lessons. #ITIf20#DigCit
We're proud to partner with @CommonSenseEd to promote digital citizenship.
In this short video, students learn how to build empathy for others. They'll also find strategies to use when confronted with cyberbullying.

@LWMEdProf My students are currently not being digital citizenship in the classroom. We do address and teach them the basic expectations that we have for them such as being nice and respectful to one another. I look forward to teaching them more about it. #ITIF20#digcit
The Los Angeles school district and the teachers' union reached a "historic" deal to end the strike. Here are some of the victories UTLA claimed: https://t.co/rglrxJzs4t
Just wanted to share this photo! I think it is important that not only do we teach our students in the future but that we also believe in them!

Thought I share this article especially since there will be a screening of โEmbracing Dyslexiaโ at USF on Friday. Also they mentioned Evernote as a source which we learned in class. This is article I think we be beneficial for all of us as future educators. #TTLs19
It's On in #LA: Tomorrow, 1/14/19, more than 30,000 members of @UTLAnow are going on strike. Affected: More than 600,000 students in more than 800 campuses, spread out over 700 square miles. Our @NBCNightlyNews report on what will be a historic battle. @LASchools#LAUSD#STRIKE
As educators we should want what is best for our students. Which is what I believe the teachers from Los รngeles want, education is so important and funding should not have to be an issue.
#TTLs19
Even though this not happening in our state, I feel this is a must read especially since we will soon be educators. Many teachers in Los รngeles are going on strike for smaller class size, a salary increase and an increase in staff such as nurses and librarians. #TTLs19
Iconic labor leader @DoloresHuerta stands with LA teachers. Huerta is a co-founder of the United Farm Workers. Huerta continues not only to inspire those around her, but to do the work of building a just society for working people. #Solidarity#StrikeReady
