It’s the start of Week #4 of virtual learning and this brave group of 4th Graders (and teachers!) took on a Socratic Seminar to share our thinking after we read Ruby Finds A Worry by @TomPercivalsays. IT. WAS. AWESOME. This class amazes me each day! @FCPSLaneES@FCPSR3@fcpsnews
It wouldn’t have been a true last day in @FCPSLaneES 4th Grade without our portraits! Loved seeing these gorgeous faces and so many others during my drive-by photo shoot! 🥰
The highlights of Flat Ms. Dierman’s first adventures are in! She got donuts, lost terribly at UNO, visited the Laurel Grove School that we learned about and met some real heroes in the Covid-19 unit at @MedStarGUH. She loved every minute! 🥰 @FCPSLaneES@fcpsnews
@FCSEPTA What an overwhelming way to end Teacher Appreciation Week! I’m beyond touched and grateful and feel so fortunate to have my inclusion partner in crime @AnnaWhittingto5 recognized too. Thanks for spreading some much-needed sunshine today! 🥰
Someone’s been missing her (not flat) 4th Grade friends and getting a little restless stuck at home. Can’t wait to see what sorts of fun and adventures #FlatMsDierman gets herself into! @FCPSLaneES@fcpsnews
We read “The Invisible String” by Patrice Karst about how all of us stay connected even when we’re apart. I made friendship bracelets for them and will use all of their colors to make my own. That way we really are all connected by a string!
Living in our @FCPSLaneES community has inspired me to creatively maintain my connections with students. Introducing: Sidewalk Book Talks! Seeing these kids in person (from 6+ feet away) and sharing this sweet story with them has done wonders for my heart! 💙 @fcpsnews@FCPSR3
