@TheTelepathX @ManOfMagnetism “The nightmares themselves may have to do with her past but them coming back after having children is where the hormones come in. It puts you in an emotionally vulnerable state which can trigger past trauma in some cases.”

“Well, I’m glad you notice.”

he claims, folding his arms comfortably.

@TheTelepathX @ManOfMagnetism She nods, “he was so little. He just couldn’t get the nutrients he needed from me. So they induced labor and when he was born they put him on all these machine to help him grow. It’s why he’s a bit smaller.”

She explains. “Also why we were gone so much longer than planned.”

“I know it’s hard for you to feel things and express feelings, but it’s means a lot that you at least try for me.” She smiles softly.

he responds, making sure his words didn’t sound rehearsed or anything.

“Most mutations don’t show until puberty. I’m not sure if he’s a mutant or not.”

She takes the baby back, smiling down at him. “I’m just happy he’s healthy. He nearly didn’t make it.”

he says, offering the baby back to her carefully.

The baby in his arms is awake and looking up at Leon. He’s got a wtf kind of look on his face. It’s kind of funny.

“I wasn’t sure if you’d even care, but I kind of hoped you would. I just want him to have the family I didn’t have.” She shrugs.
