@HANNAHRAD So thankful that you blocked profiles that pointed it out so you could not make the same mistake? Even when you invited viewers to @ you. I’ll wait for this one to be blocked too.
@laurenTarshis My title one school in Davenport, Iowa would love this opportunity! They love your books but we have never been able to work with an author before.
@MsRogers_NotMr@teachbk Most teachers are salaries for 185ish days not the entire year. If you work outside of those CONTRACT DAYS you’re giving free labor. I’m really sad that an actual teacher ether hasn’t read their contract or doesn’t understand their contract.
@RajiBaba4@teachbk And another uninformed comment. Teachers get a salary for 10 mos that they elect to have spread over 12. Many districts pay only monthly. Brand new teachers, may not even get a check until Oct. by the time payroll catches up. At least have a clue before you speak up next time.
@libertarianJD @teachbk You’re completely uninformed. We get a salary for ten months that we electively take out over 12 to avoid higher taxes and to be able to live in the summer while we take college courses. Know what you’re talking about before you speak up again.
@HunsdonJessica Pardon my ignorance, but why? I honestly do not know why one would want to abolish it, but I’m also 20+ years out of it. Please point e in the right direction to understand.
My library students are making Valentine messages for residents of a nursing home. I did not prompt them to write anything specific and let them use coloring sheets or construction paper. They enjoyed the activity. A beautiful 4th grade soul wrote this one. My heart...

Did you ever notice that in British tv shows, the characters always offer to “make you a nice cuppa tea” ?
Why do they qualify it as “nice” ? As if you’d ever say, “Let me make you a bad cuppa tea.”
