I had such a great day at school! I walked around with a “FREE HUGS” sign all day and I swear I gave out hundreds of hugs. Kids I never had as a student, were like “I’ll take a hug!” I might do this every Friday. You never know when a kid might need one. #freehugsfriday

Teaching settlement patterns this week. Kids took a journey around the room to choose the best place to “settle”. After discussion, the new “mayor” of each settlement had to describe the geographic factors/types of economy settlers might face there.@atkinstornado @LISDsstudies
