MPUMALANGA: A multi-disciplinary law enforcement operation in Kanyamazane has led to the seizure of counterfeit and illicit goods worth R20,950, the permanent closure of a non-compliant warehouse, and the arrest of 13 undocumented foreign nationals.

Police confiscated 419 packets of illicit cigarettes and more than 10,000 counterfeit skin-lightening creams and medication during the raid.

The warehouse was shut down for failing to comply with health and safety regulations.

Investigations are continuing.
