Teaching about racism is one thing.
Teaching culturally relevant content is something else.
Teaching with an anti racist lens is yet another thing.

All of that is different from teaching critical race theory.

i have never felt so affirmed in a seminar.

Help needed: we are building a new 2-yr humanities curriculum for our 7/8 graders. I'm looking for some rationale for abandoning the traditional 1492-Reconstruction approach to US history. I'm sold, others at the table could use some research. TIA #socialstudies #vted #sschat
