Infographic Graffiti! An intro to infographics 📝Another movement related activity (which is so important in my 2 hour block). Students independently jotted their observations about infographics and then shared their thoughts with their group.

After a class discussion about what real #collaboration looks like, we worked on our first #jigsaw! I love this method in the classroom - it gives students complete ownership of the material. We used it for the #6TraitsofWriting, which 6th graders haven’t seen yet! 😊

Today in my period 2/3 #ELA we worked on #MakingInferences, which is a vital “Reading is Thinking” skill for the first days of instruction! We used “text message analysis” to draw conclusions and students were moving and engaged! #middleschool #engchat
