In my experience, people claiming to be befuddled by intergenerational trauma (or privilege) are the same ones furiously writing wills to distribute their various properties and other assets to their kids.

Reminds me of the time I was asked if I went into teaching because I couldn't get into medical school. I had to remind kindly tell my "host" teacher that teaching has always been my first choice. Just one of many instances I've faced as a teacher candidate.

Some for a free ride of doing nothing for weeks. It’s varied.

And often it’s a power struggle. Horrifying experiences of racism for BIPIC students.
