@TeacherThomp@halley_es@kassiaowedekind It started with one student asking what it was and it turned into a speed round of mini conferences with most of my class! That gave me the opportunity to meet each student where they were at and to provide specific feedback they were excited to receive.
My students were excited to reflect today and look at data from these Hands Down Speak Out conversation maps! This data might help me, but these kiddos have shown me itβs even more powerful for them. I love watching them take responsibility of their own learning & participation!
Many productive sticky notes were used this week! Our class engaged in a generalizations of change lesson before exploring our hundreds charts through a notice and wonder routine. Lots of teamwork as we took on some challenging ideas! π @halley_es@the_mrs_rz

This morning we participated in a St. Pattyβs scavenger hunt! These 3rd graders got creative as they searched the room (and school). If only it was sunny at recess so we could look for someππππ!
These scientists are digging deep into our soils unit! This week we planted our radish seeds and discovered the different components of the soil around our school.
