@MCI_Anderson Yes, I’m not going to say how but it would also put City in vulnerable contractual position with other players if he was recruited. I’d hope they wouldn’t for that reason aside from basic human decency. He’s not worth that risk.
@AdamSalkie Funny, Yaya still gets full blast for his agent but our fanbase is doing contortions to let Rodri off the hook with his. That’s despite Rodri clearly holding back and saving himself for WC. When did Yaya despite his cake silliness ever put WC ahead of league for City? Never
@MCI_Anderson He’s racist because he sang an extremely racist song (on video) and was fined and suspended for it. Hence convicted of racism. I know Argentinians I’m fluent in Spanish. They’re lovely people in general. He as an individual is a proven racist.
@EmirCTID@City_Xtra@LucaBendoni The man is a proven unapologetic racist. In any sane world that would be the end of conversation. Certainly throughout City’s history even when we were in the doldrums we would never have recruited such a man in any capacity. Who is pushing this madness?
@City_logy Attitude? No, it’s because he’s a proven racist. City as a fanbase have never abided that in the past. It’s normal practise to not recruit such people. We’ll see how well he goes down with fans if he’s signed.
@mcfcman66 Rodri (and agent) acted way worse than Yaya so why should he be treated better? Rodri could’ve been honest and got a move. Yaya never took his foot off the gas to prioritise his national team at WC over league for City. Moaning cake stuff but he never short changed us on pitch.
@_pavan_10_ Slander implies an untruth. He’s been fined for racism. The video is appalling. He should be nowhere near a club with the history or fanbase of Man City. Chelsea have a core of support that have never had a problem with that. Not so City.
@9320pod We must do better than an unapologetic racist debasing our shirt. Racism is it for me and should be it for City. For my family Maine Rd was one few grounds they could sit without being abused by own fans. Now we might sign a racist. What a disgrace to even consider him. Appalling
@NA1907_ Good to know who’s ok with an unapologetic racist debasing a City shirt. Maresca and the owners will find out soon enough what the match going fans think if they dare sign that scumbag.
@9320pod Get the fee we want or put him in the stands. After last season I’ve got no confidence he’ll put in effort for us, he’ll be avoiding injury. Best replaced whether stays or goes. See no benefit to keep him match fit for another club. The next to attempt this will think twice.
@RealTolmie I can’t even write the contempt I’ll have for Maresca and the Club if we buy that racist scumbag. His song should be played in English as part of his welcome. I’d rather lose every game and be relegated than have him play for City. I love seeing City win but this is a limit.
