The start of my 15th year at Northeast and AISD was busy but also great. Loved seeing all the students, teachers and staff excited about the new year! Plus I got the last of the student art put up in my new office and started my first battle of the books book! Let’s Go 25-26!!

I am so thankful that my family and friends are safe in Hunt, Ingram and Kerrville. The loss of life is heartbreaking. Praying for all the families affected and the school community’s facing loss as the new school years starts next month.

This week, we visited Northeast Early College HS and witnessed the magic of music in action! Thanks to our Fine Arts Fund and our amazing partners at @austinsoundwaves, students are receiving private viola, cello, and violin lessons—and their performance was unforgettable. 💫
