@rebeccavoigt @Kristin33193516 I most definitely agree! Our time is extremely valuable and having to get a sub and make sub plans is not always the best option time wise. However, if districts were willing to pay for the PD using MOOCs, then teachers would have much more flexibility with their time

@Kristin33193516 @MsHooper13 What I think would be great is if school districts offered more flexibility in pd with MOOCS being an option in district supported. As teachers we need to remember to value our time and be paid for pd.

@brittninbrown @Kristin33193516 For sure! With there being so many different grade levels, one particular PD may not appeal to everyone but if teachers could choose which course(s) to take then they'd be more interested in using their new skills with their students

This is why digital literacy is so important to help us get to the information we need (useful MOOCS) instead of getting lost or sidetracked by all the information out there. #csufedtech #medialiteracy #moocs

@Kristin33193516 You are so right Kristin! I feel like if MOOCs became more well known throughout school districts then some teachers would definitely take advantage of the courses that are being offered.
