@MrsASteger I was working with one student who had not been in the states very long and we were developing writing topics, so I pulled out my phone to select pictures to see if they were of interest to him, his eyes lit up at a picture of pizza. He is able to do the task just differently.

@MrsASteger This can be a very hard thing to do. I recently went in to a class for inclusion and we were emphasizing the difference of what each of our "best" looks like. We have a large number of students who are ESL and the students are able to acknowledge that their best looks different.
