Why is everything such a long drawn out battle? My father has severe vascular dementia. After pages of form filling for attendance allowance the 6 month wait time is over. For Council tax exemption I was told it could take up to 90 days for the doctor to sign the letter!
⚠️ MAJOR WORKS PLANNED ON THE A338 ⚠️
The work takes place between the Bournemouth West Roundabout and St Pauls Roundabout and involves the replacement of movement joints on the Braidley Road Overbridge.

Whilst out delivering Redhill & Northbourne Independents latest newsletter I have reported several potholes and a blocked road drain. Glad to see the BCP Council website was fixed and I could log in!
Uh-oh - @PrivateEyeNews features BCP Council again! this time for the failed Bayside restaurant - just wait 'til they hear that the Venture Capitalist Tory Leader is trying to put forward a budget to compete with his own officers budget...yes that's right, nuts isn't it!
Going to Ringwood today I was appalled at the amount of litter on the side of the A338. As these verges were cleared in October by BCP and Dorset Councils, it is sad to see this unnecessary pollution on a main highway into our beautiful area.
@vikki4mdnp @BCPCouncil A well deserved award. Jan was so knowledgeable and great to work with at BCP Council and obviously is still putting that knowledge to work.
Got in the Christmas spirit with Bournemouth's panto last week. My bi lingual grandchildren of course knew the words to the French song Alouette! Sorry to say I didn't!
I ended up behind the Cycle event on Sunday and thought it a pity someone in the group decided to throw lots of these small bits of paper. It is now in the road and grass especially near St Swithun's roundabout. I just hope it is bio degradable but we need less litter not more.
