Today explorers had two wonderful special guests! Dr. Rimkus from Marymount University taught students all about his turtles and snakes. Students also learned all about being a veterinarian from Dr. House Timke! 🐢🐍🐶
Wow! What an exciting day for 4th grade explorers. Students started their day with a virtual Jamestown tour, then learned how to sew and dance. Later, students wrote letters, played colonial life games, and learned more about being a solider during the civil war. @DiscoveryAPS
I’m taking it all in. This is the first 360º view of my home using Mastcam-Z. This dual, high-definition camera system sits atop my mast and has zoom capability. Inspect tiny details of Jezero Crater with the special interactive viewer at https://t.co/roDhWK56gj #CountdownToMars
Happy #FirstDayOfSchool, @DiscoveryAPS Explorers! Enjoy! All help resources are standing by at https://t.co/qwb37uQ4E3! And may all of our fellow @APSVirginia students have a wonderful, successful first day of community building and learning together!
Reminder: Dr. Bill Stixrud, author of The Self-Driven Child: The Science and Sense of Giving Your Kids More Control Over Their Lives, will virtually meet with @DiscoveryAPS families tonight at 7PM. Look for a School Talk email with the link to join the session.
