To wrap up our healthy vs. unhealthy unit, we created our very own collages by cutting and pasting items in those specific categories! At the conclusion of class, we got to taste 2 vegetables (broccoli & cauliflower) and 2 fruits (blackberries & kiwi). #prekscience 🥦🥝

This week starts our God’s Pantry Food Drive! The greatest need is for chicken noodle soup, beef ravioli, spaghettios & any non-perishable items! #serviceproject #lpscares #fooddrive 💙💚💛

We started on our Healthy vs. Not Healthy unit! We focused on MyPlate, the five food groups, how to keep our bodies moving & foods that are nutritious! 😋 Next week we will create food collages as a group and taste test different fruits and veggies! #prekscience 🥦🍇

Today we had a fantastic field trip at Dentistry for Children! As always, we had a terrific time learning all about Dental Health! We love the staff at DFC and we’re so very lucky to have the opportunity to visit their facility during Dental Health month each school year! 🦷

Yesterday we focused on dental health to prepare for our Dentistry for Children field trip! Our friends practiced flossing/brushing, reviewed foods that keep our teeth healthy and learned about how to keep cavities out! #dentalhealth #prekscience 🦷
