This is my frustration exactly !!! No communication on Instagram, they literally apologise as and when a concerned customer rants! This is not it.

Yoh @Nedbank 😭 still can't use the App - it's been down the ENTIRE day. I get that systems break. But the communication today? Zero. No SMS. No push alert. No proper updates. Just useless error messages making us think it’s our connection or that we must reinstall the app.

Surely during a major outage, just put up a banner saying: “Our systems are down. We’re working on it. Next update at X time.”

And give us actual ETRs, not just “we’re working on it”. People need to plan. If the app is down, waive fees for USSD or branch transactions until it’s sorted.

Leaving customers in the dark for hours is really not it. 😭
