Unit One: “Emotions” What a fun day we had in class today! We read a special book with Ms.Jessica, completed emotion puzzles, played a matching game matching emotions and drew a picture about a time they felt happy! Great work Pineapples🥰
Day B created their Thanksgiving headbands too!! We explored textures and used our sense of touch as we glued feathers to the headband! Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Today, we made Thanksgiving Headband! My A Day students will not attend in class session tomorrow so today was a perfect day to create our own headband! Also, a very Happy Birthday to one of my friends!! @Tracey_Harrow21@JonathanMorano
Today, we explored how to wash clothes! We created felt t-shirts and glued buttons and various materials. We explored feathers as we create a turkey for our door. We explored different sizes since clothes come in different sizes! @JonathanMorano@Tracey_Harrow21
Tree Unit- We explored Pine trees and learned that we can find pine cones on the tree! We used pine cones to paint and used descriptive words to explain how the pine cones felt! We used magnifying glasses to enhance size and legos to build different trees in the book, Tree Count.
Today we went for a hunt around the classroom to find something red! The children were very excited to show and discuss what they found. We encouraged them to explain how we play with these items and what center they found the item in! Great job Pre-K 3! ☺️
Happy Halloween! We had a blast creating pumpkins for our door, pumpkin ornaments to take home and taking special pictures with our teachers! Hope everyone stays safe and has fun tomorrow! 🧡
What a fun time we had searching for trees outdoors! We found 4 trees! We described the color of the leaves, and how small or big the tree looked! Also, we are proud to present Pre-K3’s Friendship Quilt!
Today we explored using apples as stampers. We made a collage masterpiece using red, green, and yellow paint since we explored apples last week using our five senses! The children were amazed to see how red and yellow paint made orange 🍎🍏
The children are working so hard to complete our friendship quilt. We also are learning about how teachers help us this week. We explored apples in Science Center and used our 5 senses to explore the apples as we determined our favorite apple! Busy bees in Pre-K3!
Working very hard in each center! In art, we are working on a friendship quilt to end the unit on Transition to School. In math, we are strengthening our fine motor skills as we make patterns using shape/colored blocks! In writing we are exploring letters in our name!
Pre-K 3’s Friendship Tree: We based our tree off of the Kissing Hand Book! Thank you for the remote learning for making your own handprints at home! ❤️ @BarnabasBronx
