Whenever I have a few extra minutes, I love to bring out these word mats and have students create words. They love making nonsense words & practicing their decoding skills. Hearing their giggles when they make a silly word is the best! #Phonics

Went thrifting this weekend and found a continent puzzle. I immediately knew one of my students would LOVE it. Safe to say student LOVED it!!! I love finding my students interests and incorporating them into the classroom!

One of my students wrong "Best Teacher Ever" during phonics today! (Be = best, Td =Teacher, Uve = Ever). Before there was hesitation to even write letters...now she has the confidence to try and write words independently! That's a WIN! 🩷
