@NicoleAfton2 I envy you! My classroom is schoology only and I find that it is so not user-friendly, even for myself and my MT. Making it work though! #kolb444
A1) In my own 2nd grade classroom, I have noticed students are quick to learn and adapt but introducing a new technology, even if it is simply a link sent in the chat, needs to be highly scaffolded or students will feel very frustrated very fast. #kolb444
Hi there! My name is Kelsi, and I am currently student teaching in 2nd grade at Burns Park. I am originally from Trenton, Michigan. I am very much looking forward to learning from you all today! #kolb444
@Kmlaffs I know they have a virtual library of read-aloud type books, but I had never thought about a virtual library of stamina reading books. That’s very helpful! Personal goal setting is also a great idea. Thank you for your insight! #kolb444
@Kmlaffs Hi Ms. Lafferty! I am currently working in a 2nd grade classroom that has stamina reading as part of our daily schedule. I was wondering, how do you encourage and help students in reading and finding “just right” books in a virtual setting? #kolb444
@ms_sarahgodek I am working in a 2nd grade classroom and have noticed students are really longing for social interaction in their virtual classrooms. Any advice for how to give students opportunities to do this in a remote setting while still incorporating ample core learning?
