Remember when we all were (some still are) worried abt students missing instruction & curriculum time? I think Ss are just growing to be much kinder, more patient people bc of the pandemic/remote learning

(1) A moment of grace turned into a such a lovely, thoughtful, and caring response from a student. I sent out a basic, “hey!! Your grade isn’t looking too hot! What is going on at home or with remote learning that is causing this?” message. A lot of Ss responded that they are

(2) Helping take care of siblings during the school day and afterwards. So I planned with them to get their siblings work done and theirs w/o anybody crying or getting off track. Here was one student’s response:
