Days 3&4…all the ungulares (bison, pronghorn, big horn sheep, elk, mule deer, and moose!) PLUS wolves and coyotes! We also snowshoed again, met two wolf biologists, and visited Mammoth Hot Springs. (And this is just our outside adventures!)
Day 2 = bison identification lessons! We learned how to identify adult males and females as well as juveniles and young of the year (aka nuggets). We were able to collect a fecal sample to add to all of our data, too! Poop, there it is!
