@bcingalive I feel like she would go for matcha milk tea is her go to order but when she wants something a little sweeter on a bad day or a pick me up she gets a fruit tea with the popping pearls. Brown sugar and tiger bobas are always a little too sweet for her.

On paper I think Mel and Whitaker make sense as friends. They both are sensitive, awkward and lonely. They both really want to have friends and I want to see them bond. That’s the platonic relationship Mel needs.

Also in my HC Langdon doesn’t like Shen. Mostly because he thinks Shen is lazy and is always critiquing the smallest things that Shen does but when Mel and Shen bond over medical history it puts him over the edge.

What if we get some Shen/Mel scenes where Shen is going off about medical history and Mel comes in and sees nobody is listening to Shen so she decides to listen and engage with him in the conversation because she understands how it feels.

@pdeardzcrave_ @thefateofelle @MeredithLoftus Um are we getting some Shen medical history nerd scenes in season 3 because we def didn’t get that in seasons 1 or 2? I love that we find out more about Shen. Underrated attending.
