Co-teaching at its finest. We played Student Wheel of Fortune. I read the question to each student while my amazing co-teacher provided them with a sentence stem for both an oral and written response! @SIOPModel#coteaching#team#room33#SentenceStems#ELA
Even during virtual learning we need to ensure that Ss are driving the work. One way to keep this in mind is to ask, How am I balancing teacher talk vs student talk? The more kids are talking about, processing, & engaging in the work the better! #LiteracyTipTuesday#RSDLearns
I made breakout room choice doors where Ss will "go" to during their work time. We're using Google Meet & I plan to link different Meet links to each 🚪so Ss can collaborate, work alone, or get extra help. Honoring differences & personalizing instruction!

Couldn’t agree more. I am loving the work we are doing & how it keeps bringing me back to my core values. This work is holding me accountable and making sure my actions reflect these values and my “why” as an educator and person. 💕 Thank you @emilyamcfadden
Today the instructional coaches spent time identifying our core values &thinking about how they impact the work we do. As so many Ts are overwhelmed, worried, or not confident, we can ground one another in what matters most to us. 💙 #educoach#edutwitter#teachinginapandemic
@mslarucci15 So glad it has been a successfully process for you, the kids & the parents, who are also learning how to support their child’s learning! 👏🏽
First full week of virtual learning, ✅. I quickly realized having a slide deck each day is crucial. The kinders cut picture cards/sorted rhymes today and having this slide up was beyond helpful! I’m so proud of them! #D15learns#LLhasheart#Kindergarten
How to use a Breakout Room Note Taker in Google Slides:
1️⃣ Set link to “Anyone can edit” & drop in chat
2️⃣ Students work in breakout groups & take notes on their assigned slide
3️⃣ Teachers monitor activity from Grid View in Slides

Parents saying screen time for online learning is already too much for Ss? Reminder that asynchronous activities can be low tech! 📒✏️ Get Ss outside, working in paper notebooks, engaging w/family members, etc. Remote teaching doesn’t have to be 100% online. #educoach#edutwitter
