Phyllis' request for #OrangeShirtDay is for all Indigenous peoples to stand upon mother earth and speak out loud the names of all 150,000 children who attended residential schools in Canada to honour the lives and the memory of our ancestors and kin. They will not be forgotten.
Phyllis was grateful to tell her Orange Shirt Story at the Niagara Parks Power Station Plaza. She was also joined by her family and Survivor, Chief Fred Robbins.
We are so proud of how far Orange Shirt Day has come in these past few years.
