Sometimes i imagine a life with nowhere to be and nothing to rush toward.
A small cabin by the water.
Mornings without alarms.
Afternoons that stretch into golden evenings.
No deadlines. No noise. No crowded rooms.
Just the sound of the wind, the water, and my own thoughts slowly becoming clear again.
A life that feels less like surviving the days and more like actually living them.
“Find another job, go to school, learn a trade” still doesn’t solve the problem that is companies making a killing and not properly compensating the employees responsible for them doing so
Immediately after a Black boy and his cousin walked into Walgreens, a manager told them to hurry up and grab what they were buying or she was going to call the cops on them.
The boy went to the car and told his grandmother, who swiftly came in and set the manager straight.
